A group of Army reservists travel around to soldiers in stressful combat situations and attempt to spot and help soldiers who are suffering mental health issues or just may need time to recuperate from combat situations.

The 883d Combat Stress Control Company consists of nurses, psychiatrists, and social workers and has been working as a mental health unit for 15 years.

Where soldiers don't typically seek help on their own for mental health problems, sometimes due to stigmas about mental health, the Combat Stress Control Company is there to reach out to these people and try to help them.

The question then remains - since this unit is also out on the battlefield, who is there to help the 883d? hehe
