Anyone ever hear of the Drake Institue? It's a place for mental help withouth medication. I have sever anxiety that gives me horrible irritable bowel syndrome and in turn, I cant go out with friends or any "fun" places ebcause I live in constant fear I will get sick. My parents took me to this place today, and Im skeptical because it's like 600 dollars for a brain mapping test. They will basically see me twice a week! and make me sit in a chair and learn to relax by monitering my brain activity. they said i should be better after 10 sessions and i will be in my progressed state forever, but it isnt guaranteed I will never deal with anxiety again, like there is no for sure cure. What do you think> sorry i misspelled a lot. i am just anxious and i wanna get this out there to get feedback. I live in california by the way, where the drake inst. is located.
