im new here so just like to say hi.

im 31 yr old male and the last few weeks iv had a few attacks.

at first i didnt know what was goin on ,

im one of those people that hasnt been to the doctor for 12yrs.

started off by not been able to stay easy .no appetite, had no patients with anyone and felt very drained of energy which is just not me at all.

the doc put me on calmax which i thought he was mad saying i had ANXIETY.

so i battled on for a few days Until last monday i came home .

very fast heart rate .

arms went weak and felt nump and felt as if i was going to pass out,

so off the the ER i went .

blood tests , heart scan , and all the usual test but noting ,all that came back was low potassium in my blood which they gave me tabs for,

so this is it im having ANXIETY attacks ,

sorry for the long story but i needed to get it out.

Hello sorry to here about everything. Im an 18 year old guy and i had the same symptoms you describe and the same tests even the same low potassium that they gave me tablets for. Also im new here but just want to let you know your not alone.

yea i have been going through it for a little over a month now. and progressively getting better and developed tools to deal with it. Seeing a psychologist helps and believe me before this happened i was the last one to want to see a psych. Also just perusing this site and some of the other threads has even shown me new things as well.

And no matter how bad it gets just know you will always come out the other side fine.

Anyway fast recovery wishes to you aswell.
