This study compares activity in brains of patients that have Williams Syndrome with normal healthy patients, and finds certain areas of the brain that are linked to social behavior in people. It also attempts to explain why the Williams Syndrome sufferers are more outgoing socially and more fearful of non-social things. This can be of possible interest to those social phobics among us ;)

The amygdala and a few other areas of the brain that connect to it are implicated in social behavior.
