Hey there, 38 year old Husband, and father of 2. I've been recentlly been bitten by the anxiety bug. I expierenced a panic attack this past May of 2009 at work, went to the hospital and thought there was something wrong with me. The doctor gave me a couple of pills and told me it was anxiety. I know my brother has anxiety, my Aunt has anxiety as well as a few of my friends and cousins. I never thought it would happen to me. I wish I was a little bit more compassionate to them, cause now that I know how it feels like, its not easy. I am currently reading several books on anxiety, I ocasionally will take maybe 25mg or 50mg of Xanax after work to calm ne down, and I see a therapist 2x's a month. I cant' afford much more than that. I'm hoping to find some more tools and exercises here on this forum to help me recover from this. Looking forward to hearing from you all.
