According to a new study, Social Anxiety Disorder sufferers may be avoiding doctors and possibly even 'self-medicating' with alcohol or substance abuse.

Its not exactly shocking news, but certainly goes to show that there's potentially larger numbers of unreported mental illnesses than typically estimated.
