| Hi everyone. i have anxiety and i was hoping by joining this site that i could learn from others. i ve been on anti-depressants for 5 months and im hoping to develop relief systems and cognitive systems that will help me sort through my anxiety do i can get off the medicine. At this point i am thinking if anxiety is a part of who i am. If it isn't how can i overcome it? If it is then i need to accept it. |

That's a question I have pondered a bit.
My anxiety is definitely a part of me. I don't accept it though. I do lots of things to try and stop it.
My anxiety has taught me a lot of lessons and has made me a better person in some ways. The best thing about living with anxiety is that when I have a moment without it I *know* it is much, much sweeter. Given what I have to compare it to _________________ this too shall pass
