I love classic rock...led zeppelin, the doors, the who, jethro tull, the guess who, etc. etc. Some other bands and artists I love are Jeff Buckley (amazing!), Incubus, the Strokes, some of the Killers songs I've heard, Keane, John Mayer, Wolfmother, Justin King (excellent guitarist, if you haven't heard him, definitely check him out), and...well, probably a bunch more I can't think of hah.
What would life be without music, eh? _________________ Better than witnessing newborn nebulas in bloom... |

I love all kinds of music but my favorite to listen to when I'm feeling stressed or worked up is BROADWAY. Oh, I could listen to Broadway every day of my life.
It's especially fun to sing at the top of my lungs when I am driving around. I heard that listening to Broadway actually reduces road rage- which is also helpful.
My favorites are songs from Wicked and Cats. |

| Metal is the most soothing thing in the world to me. It really seems illogical, even to me. But just hearing fast brutal music just makes me exhale all my problems and focus on the drum beats. The faster the drumming, the more relaxing I find it. |

I like melodic metal. Listen to this. Nice relaxing melodies. You might have to refresh the page when you click it. _________________ Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity |

| Someone just HAD to bring up MUSIC - the old thorn in my side and reminder of my weirdness. It REALLY hit home today. I was looking at a slide show of the Mekong River Gorge in Yunnan, China just today on YouTube. And the poster put this slide show to some sort of Chinese music. But Mr Wierdo here (aka Robbed) just HAD to turn the volume down on YouTube and watch the slide show to Double Dutch Bus. Hell, if I tried hard enough, maybe I could even see that big, funky, purple, double-decker bus coming down the narrow streets in some of those Chinese villages, with Popeye singing at the wheel (am I the only one who thinks Frankie Smith sounds like Popeye?). And all the people on the streets were dancing along. Sad, isn't it? Although I can even have fun with this for a while, I so often end up hating myself for being so perverted as to think of stuff THIS twisted. |
